Over the last year, we’ve seen a surge in projects from our customers that demand Proof-of-Concept (PoC), particularly those involving AI components. The PoC phase is critical, requiring rapid development cycles, reliable performance, and minimal investment in infrastructure. In other words, we needed an environment that lets us “move fast and break things” while still having something stable enough to reliably showcase demos.
The Replit Solution
Enter Replit. It has emerged as the perfect ally for our PoC needs. With Replit, we can effortlessly spin up an instance using an appropriate template suitable for the project, bypassing the tedious setup of infrastructure. But it doesn’t stop there. Replit’s seamless deployment features allow us to roll out stable demos for end-user testing quickly and efficiently. Iterating on different versions is as simple as forking containers—a game-changer for rapid PoC development when multiple branches of an idea need to be built and experienced to make a final decision.
Taking Stockmints.ai to New Heights
We have built our confidence in Replit so much that now we have baked the integration very tightly inside our product stockmints.ai. Stockmints is an ecosystem of a data API and a customer-owned cloud client that will trade on behalf of the customer using the insights from the data API. When customers sign up on Stockmints, they are provided access to a Django web app on Replit, which they can fork and run. Replit’s ease of use enables us to help non-technical users easily run their trading bots on the cloud.
Replit Teams: A Leap in Team Productivity
Recently, we’ve begun rolling out Replit Teams to teams within the organization, and the benefits are visible. The platform has significantly reduced our project kick-off time. With Replit Teams, we can delay the complexities of infrastructure-as-code until we reach a more mature stage of product development. The platform’s AI feature has been invaluable, helping our developers be more productive, by having a tightly integrated experience with a LLM engine sitting within the codebase. The multiplayer feature is super handy for our entirely remote teams for collaboration purposes.
