Job description
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports.
Translate business requirements into meaningful reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions.
Build efficient data models and semantic models to support reporting and analytics.
Develop complex DAX measures and calculations to support business requirements.
Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data extraction.
Use Power Query for data transformation, cleansing, and preparation.
Connect Power BI with multiple data sources and ensure reliable data refresh.
Optimize Power BI reports and data models for performance and scalability.
Manage and publish reports through Power BI Service, including workspaces, refresh schedules, and access controls.
Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and software teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and appropriate security across reports and dashboards.
Troubleshoot reporting and data-related issues and take ownership through resolution.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve the overall analytics experience.
Stay current with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, cloud analytics, and emerging data and AI capabilities.
